WHAT IT IS

GridOps gives bus and coach companies in Canada and the US a charter booking engine for their own website: a form that takes the trip, asks your questions and prices it from your rates.

It replaces the contact form that drops a half-finished request into your inbox. Customers enter every detail you need, then see a price straight away or a promise that you’ll send one.

Every request lands on your quote board, is saved as a Lead under Customers, and gets an instant we-got-your-request email. People who leave halfway are emailed a link to finish where they left off.

Your day, changed

What changes when requests come from your website?

The same seven moments of every charter request. Pick one to see what changes.

The booking engine

Why put a booking engine on your own website?

Your website is where customers look for you, often after hours. A booking form there turns a visit into a priced request on your quote board, without a phone call or an email thread.

Multi-day trips, handled properly

The form knows when a trip needs you.

The form spots a trip that runs over several days.

It asks whether the bus stays or drops off and returns, and which days it’s needed.

It asks whether the customer will provide the driver’s hotel.

No price is shown. The request comes to you to price and send.

Pricing

What does a charter booking engine cost?

The booking engine comes with GridOps at one price per bus, with quoting, dispatch and payments included. No booking fee on charters.

Questions operators ask about the booking engine

Can customers see a price the moment they finish the form?

Yes, if the form is set to Instant price. The price comes from your own rates. Set it to Review before sending and the customer is told you’ll email the price.

Does it work for multi-day trips?

Yes. The form spots a multi-day trip, asks about the hotel and the days the bus is needed, and sends the request to you to price. Multi-day trips never get an instant price.

Can I add my own questions?

Yes. Add questions with buttons or a dropdown, make them required, and let an answer add a charge, with or without tax.

Will it sit on my own website?

Yes. Embed it in a page, open it as a pop-up, put it behind a Book now button, or share it as a link.

What happens if someone leaves the form halfway?

GridOps saves everything they typed. If they gave an email, it follows up with a link that reopens the form where they stopped.

Do I need a web developer?

Sharing a link needs no developer. For an embed, a button or a pop-up, GridOps gives your web developer a hand-off with the code and the steps.

Can customers pay a deposit online?

Yes. When they accept, they pay a deposit or the full amount by card, straight to your own Stripe account. You choose which.

Where do requests go?

Onto your quote board with a response clock, and your team is emailed the moment one lands.

How long does setup take?

The booking engine can be ready in as little as 24 hours, and we can help bring your rates and vehicles across.

What counts as a bus?

Any vehicle a customer can book or you can dispatch counts as one bus, whatever its size.
