Drivers and contractors, scheduled
Bus driver scheduling software that puts the right driver on every trip.
Drivers ranked by conflicts, availability and hours left when you assign. Every driver sees their day on their phone, and trips you canโt cover go out to your contractors in one broadcast.
$40 per bus per month, with a 30-day free trial.
WHAT IT IS
GridOps is bus driver scheduling software for bus and coach companies in Canada and the US: every employee driver and contractor next to every trip, ranked when you assign and informed on their phone.
It replaces the whiteboard of whoโs off, the spreadsheet of hours and the phone tree for finding cover.
When you assign a trip, drivers are sorted by conflicts, availability and hours left in the day. Each driver has a home screen with their next trip, today and the week ahead, and contractors can accept open trips in one click.

Your day, changed
What changes when bus driver scheduling moves into GridOps?
The same seven moments of putting a driver on a trip. Step through them to see what changes.
Driver scheduling
How does GridOps rank drivers for every trip?
By putting every driver, employee or contractor, next to every trip. GridOps sorts them for each assignment, warns you about conflicts, and shows the trip on the driverโs home screen.

The right driver, first
Conflicts caught before you save.
A driver already booked on another trip is flagged as a conflict.
The warning names the trip they are on, and you pick someone else.

Questions operators ask about bus driver scheduling
Is there a driver app?
Drivers use a home screen in their phoneโs browser, with their next trip, today and the week ahead. Thereโs nothing to install.
Is driver load the same as hours of service?
No. The load bar compares hours already assigned with a 13-hour day to help you choose. Keep using your logbook or ELD for hours of service.
Can contractors take trips?
Yes. Broadcast a trip by email, preferred contractors first. A contractor accepts in one click and you confirm.
Can I set what a contractor is paid for a job?
Yes. Set a flat rate or an hourly rate on the broadcast, and when the offer closes if nobody accepts.
How do new drivers join?
Send them an onboarding link. The driver adds their details, licence and a photo, then sets a password.
Do drivers get text messages?
No. GridOps doesnโt send texts. Drivers see their trips on their home screen.
Does the board know when drivers are off?
Yes. Availability and time off sit on a calendar the board reads when it ranks drivers.
Does GridOps assign drivers for me?
No. It ranks them for every assignment, and you choose from the list in one click.
Does the customer know whoโs driving?
A driver assigned email goes to the customer once a driver is on the trip.
Do drivers count toward the price?
No. You pay per bus. Drivers, contractors and office staff are included.
