Contract runs stay on your board and off your booking form
Mark a line you run for another company as a closed run. You dispatch it like any route, and online bookings on it are refused.
If someone tries to book it anyway: “This departure is part of a closed run and is not publicly bookable.”

What does shuttle route and fare software cost?
One price per bus, with routes, fares, timetables and seat booking included. Shuttle and tour bookings paid online carry a 1.9% booking fee, billed monthly. The first 10 founding operators who join by December 31, 2026 pay $20 per bus and 0.9%, both locked for 3 years.
Questions operators ask about shuttle routes and fares
How are shuttle fares worked out?
Pick one rule per route: one flat fare, a price per stop crossed, or a price per kilometre, with an optional minimum fare. Generate Fares then prices every stop pair on the route.
Can I set some fares by hand?
Yes. Edit any fare and it’s marked override. When you regenerate the rest, your hand-set fares stay as they are.
How is distance measured for per-kilometre fares?
GridOps uses the straight-line distance between stops. Where the road winds, set that fare by hand or price the route flat or per stop.
Can I run a line I never sell online?
Yes. Mark it a closed or contract run. You dispatch it like any other route, and GridOps refuses public bookings on it.
Can different routes take different deposits?
Yes. Each route can ask for a deposit, full payment or nothing at booking, or follow your default.
Can a route have a minimum fare?
Yes. Set a minimum fare on the route and short trips never price below it.
Where does the customer’s money go?
Straight to your own Stripe account, with your deposit and refund rules.
Can I take a route off sale for the season?
Yes. Switch the route off and it leaves your booking form. Switch it back on when the season starts.
What counts as a bus?
Any vehicle that can be booked or dispatched counts as a bus.
Does GridOps take a cut of shuttle bookings?
Shuttle and tour bookings paid online carry a 1.9% booking fee, billed monthly, or 0.9% for founding operators. Charters carry none. Stripe charges its own card processing fee.
