Seat booking for shuttle operators
Sell every shuttle seat, online and by phone.
Customers pick their stops and a run with seats, then pay a deposit or in full on your website. Your office books phone and walk-up passengers on the same seats.
$40 per bus per month, with a 30-day free trial.
WHAT IT IS
GridOps is bus reservation software for shuttle and bus companies: a booking form for your own website and an office booking screen, both selling the same seats on the same runs.
It replaces seat counts kept in a spreadsheet, bookings taken only in office hours and cash collected on board.
Customers choose where they board and get off, see how many seats are left and pay by card. Your team books phone and walk-up passengers on the same runs, and every seat lands on the board.

Your day, changed
What changes when seats sell themselves?
Seven moments of selling shuttle seats. Step through them to see what changes.
Seat booking
Seats sold online, on the phone and at the door
Every seat on a run comes from the bus you assign, and every booking, wherever it’s made, takes from the same count.
01
Sold on your website
A booking form made for seats.
Customers pick their pickup and drop-off from your stops.
Full days are marked and can’t be picked.
Each run shows its times, fare and seats left.
Up to 20 passengers in one booking.
02
Never sold twice
One count, locked as it sells.
Once a bus is on the run, seats lock as they sell, so two customers can’t buy the last one.
Capacity comes from the bus on the run.
An unpaid online booking gives its seats back after 30 minutes.
Every booking lands on the run’s manifest.
03
Phone and walk-up
Your office books the same seats.
Book a passenger from the board or the New menu.
Pick the run, the stops and the number of seats.
Charge the card now or send a payment link.
Record cash, e-transfer or cheque, with a note only your team sees.
04
Paid your way
Deposits, balances and refunds.
Ask for a deposit, full payment or nothing at booking, per route.
Card payments go straight to your own Stripe account.
Every booking gets an invoice with your taxes.
Cancel a booking and the refund comes from your shuttle policy.

Pricing
What does shuttle seat booking software cost?
One price per bus, with the booking form, routes, fares and timetables included. Shuttle and tour bookings paid online carry a 1.9% booking fee, billed monthly. The first 10 founding operators who join by December 31, 2026 pay $20 per bus and 0.9%, both locked for 3 years.
Questions operators ask about selling shuttle seats
Can customers book on my website at night?
Yes. The booking form takes seats and card payments at any hour, and the money goes straight into your own Stripe account.
How do you stop two people buying the last seat?
Once a bus is on the run, seats lock as they sell. If two customers pay for the last seat at the same moment, one gets it and the other is told it’s gone.
What happens to a booking that’s never paid?
An unpaid online booking gives its seats back after 30 minutes, so abandoned checkouts don’t block a run.
Can my office take phone bookings too?
Yes. Book from the board or the New menu, then charge the card, send a payment link or record cash, e-transfer or cheque.
Do I have to take payment online?
No. Each route can ask for a deposit, full payment or nothing at booking.
Where do the seat counts come from?
From the bus assigned to the run. Put a bigger bus on the run and there are more seats to sell.
How do I put the form on my website?
Share a link, embed the form in any page, or add a floating Book now button. Each option comes with the code to copy.
How do refunds work?
Cancel a booking and GridOps works out the refund from your cancellation policy. Shuttles can have a policy of their own.
What counts as a bus?
Any vehicle that can be booked or dispatched counts as a bus.
Is there a fee on seat bookings?
Yes. Seats paid for online carry a 1.9% booking fee, billed to you monthly, or 0.9% for founding operators. Charters have none, and Stripe charges its own card fee.
Ready to sell seats on your own website?
Book a demo and we’ll set up the booking form on one of your routes, so you can book a seat yourself.
Running charters and tours too? They share the same dispatch board. See everything GridOps does for shuttles.
